Paul Storr was the greatest silversmith of the nineteenth century. This dish cover is typical of the weight and quality of his work. The piece was made to the order of the 4th. Duke of Newcastle. 
The coronet of the Duke of Newcastle containing a plume of 5 ostrich feathers is on BOTH sides of the cover. 

The plumed ducal coronet engraving is very crisp on both sides. 
The hallmarks are very clear.
